School Trips

Starting from a direct and in-depth knowledge of the territory, through historical and cultural paths, but also through testimonies and confrontation with the realities that daily fight for democracy, social justice and development, It makes the educational journey an important experience that can make children feel the need for a continuous process of transformation and especially the awareness of being able to be an active part of it.
Responsible Tourism trips offer schools the following types of proposals:

Legality and Active Citizenship

GOEL - Cooperative Group has been successfully opposing the 'ndrangheta for 18 years, both in Calabria, in the most at-risk territories, and in the rest of Italy, creating alliances with the different territories to counter infiltration in other regions. This itinerary is a fullimmersion in a universe of active citizenship that has been able to overcome every constraint of the 'ndrangheta and produce a condition of freedom unprecedented in the territory. GOEL has not only defended itself from the attacks of the 'ndrangheta but through the active non-violence of the "Reborn Festival" it has been able to stop the mafia damages. These results are the result of a complex strategy including innovation and social entrepreneurship. The meeting with the brave women and men of GOEL, the story of the methods and strategies, is a source of great learning and formation for the young people welcomed in this itinerary. The objective is to leave an attitude of organized active citizenship that can then be used, even in other situations, in their territories of origin.

Specific routes (PCTO)

GOEL - Cooperative Group and Comunità Progetto Sud "contain" an archipelago of ethical and innovative activities that can be a great source of inspiration for the different fields of study of the various high schools. Organic agriculture and social farming, ethics of catering and hotel accommodation, socio-sanitary services with innovative actions at the forefront, entrepreneurship ethical and social economy, fashion ethics, are just some of the specific and innovative topics covered by these itineraries. The routes include workshops and "active" workshops to experience what has been learned in the routes.

Mix between legalities and specific routes (PCTO)

A mix between the two previous proposals, or paths of education to legality and active citizenship, linked and inserted within specific itineraries with respect to a given direction of study.
