Arca della Salvezza is an A e B social cooperative, born in 2009 to run the “Emmaus” Centre’s activities. The centre houses minors with different hardships. The keyword is “welcome”, in the name of Jesus’ love and life. The cooperative manages also a farm (cattle and pig farming) which proposes didactic farm activities for schools:

From the lawn to the cheese

Educational path inside the farm, meeting and learning about animals, farming and shepherding. Workshop: cheese production – milking, curdling and cheese production.

From wheat to flour, from flour to pasta

Educational path inside the farm, learning about cattle. Visit to the wheat field to know how grain-based food is made.  Workshop:  wheat growing, flour production, dough and bread modelling, cooking.

Paint the world

Educational path inside the farm learning about cattle and visit to the vegetable garden, learning about the colouring agents contained in the flowers and vegetables. Workshop: painting using the colours made from flowers, vegetables and plants.

Traditional Skills

Educational path inside the farm meeting and learning about animals, farming and shepherding.  Workshop: didactic path learning about traditional works as the hand waver, the blacksmith and the farmer.
